Presently enrolled for at least nine (9) graduate or six (6) undergraduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done. For work eligibility during a summer term, a student must be enrolled for at least six (6) graduate or undergraduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done or pre-registered at least 6 undergraduate semester hours or 9 graduate semester hours for the upcoming fall term; must be in academic good standing (SAP) as demonstrated through your college; minimum GPA must be 2.0.

Posting Summary

This position is responsible for seeking qualified individuals to support services provided by the Learning Curve. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, providing ongoing tutorial services (one-on-one or group) to students needing assistance in desired academic courses; assisting with the day to day operations of the tutoring center; providing one-on-one tutorial services to freshmen in identified “high risk” courses; maintaining the front desk operations and all required duties of the tutoring center; assisting with the day to day operations of the tutoring center.; providing mid-term and final exam review session as needed to students for identified “high risk” courses; collecting documents from tutors; copying; filing; sorting; organizing the tutoring center work room and supply room; assisting with the day to day operations of the tutoring center; attending mandatory tutor training needed for tutor certification; involvement in decision making assignment/projects; assists with the day to day operations of the tutoring center.
