Interested Applicants must have at least ten (10) years successful and effective prior teaching experience in Mathematics, Statistics or Mathematics Education at college level.

Primary duties for all positions include, but not limited to, excellent teaching performance, classroom management, classroom effectiveness; responsiveness to students; exhibiting professional conduct, evaluating instruction, supporting student retention, promoting enrollment enhancement and management, supporting student development, actively participate in University and departmental activities. For Tenure Track positions, scholarly activities, research publication, and external grant solicitations are also required as their primary duties.

Posting Summary

This position is responsible for helping the Department of Mathematics achieve its goals by excellent teaching, conducting scholarly activities and service to the department and the university. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, organizing instruction classroom management and classroom effectiveness; responsiveness to students; attending tutorial lab and helping students in need; exhibiting professional conduct; advising students as assigned by the department head; evaluating instruction fairly and running a responsible classroom enrollment; actively participating in student math major recruitment; supporting student retention and student development; participating in University and departmental committee activities and events; conducting peer evaluation and assisting with the publication of the AAM Journal.
